Kevin Parker recorded parts of the album in various locations around the world, including Vienna and even on a flight from Singapore to London.
Parker lost an iPod full of recorded ideas for the album somewhere between London and Amsterdam.
“Lonerism” won the J Award for Australian Album of the Year in 2012, making Tame Impala the first band to win the award more than once.
Hozier
by Hozier
Little know facts
Hozier’s father was a blues musician in Dublin, which heavily influenced his musical style.
The album and EP covers were designed by Hozier’s mother, Raine Hozier-Byrne.
The music video for “Take Me To Church” makes a strong political statement about gay rights, and “Cherry Wine” addresses domestic violence.
